Proud to have been recognised as the best in our field by The Contracting Awards 2020
On Wednesday 4th of November, Qdos Contractor was recognised as ‘The Best Legal, Compliance or Tax Adviser’ and ‘The Best Insurance Provider or Broker’ in the prestigious Contracting Awards 2020.
We are delighted to have won both of the categories that we entered, with the judges acknowledging our IR35 expertise, industry knowledge and history of supporting contractors, recruiters and hiring organisations with their insurance, tax and legal requirements.
The Contracting Awards is an annual event held to recognise and celebrate outstanding service providers in the contracting industry – from accounting and umbrella companies, to banking, mortgage, insurance and compliance specialists.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the awards ceremony was hosted virtually, with the hosts going above and beyond to make it a thoroughly enjoyable event.
Qdos was shortlisted in two categories and stood out as the best in both:
Best Contractor Insurance Provider or Broker
This category aimed to find our industry’s leading provider or broker of insurance. The winner had to demonstrate that it offered the best overall service through exceptional innovation, excellent customer service, value for money and clear claims policies.
Qdos provides comprehensive IR35 insurance and a range of business insurance policies to contractors, recruitment agencies and businesses that engage independent workers. As The Contracting Awards website stated, “The judges chose Qdos Contractor as the winner as they stand out in the industry as having a high level of knowledge and are clearly the experts in their field.”
Best Legal, Compliance or Tax Adviser
This category sought out companies providing the best compliance or tax advice to contractors, agencies and hiring organisations. The winner of this category not only needed to provide the most effective compliance offering on the market but also have a proven track record of successfully defending clients when it matters.
Having carried out over 150,000 IR35 status reviews and defended more than 1,600 IR35 enquiries in the 20 years that IR35 has been in existence, it was also said: “The judges chose Qdos Contractor as their winners because of their very specific and targeted legal work in the IR35 market – a great entry.”
